I’m a certified Personal Trainer with a background in health care, having worked as a Physician Assistant in adult medicine for 15 years. The combination of my experience with treating patients with a wide variety of medical conditions, as well as several years of personal fitness training, gives me a unique perspective on the care and nurturing of the human body.
My own transition into fitness began with a minor injury requiring physical therapy. I was amazed at how great I felt doing just a month of minimal exercise. I realized I was at least 50 pounds overweight and completely out of shape. I began walking daily, then joined a fitness bootcamp, and eventually added private personal training. Slowly, I became aware of how much better I felt with regular workouts.
Since then, physical fitness has become a growing passion, and has sustained me through more injuries, surgeries, significant weight loss, weight gain, and loss again. I’m now in the best shape of my life, and feel amazing both inside and out.
